Maynard Dixon did beautiful paintings of the southwest during the first half of the 20th century. This was his home and studio - the current owners, artists and art dealers themselves, built their own home next door, and have restored the original buildings. Artists come for inspiration and workshops. Docent led tours are available, or you can explore on your own. To top it off, they have a half dozen RV campsites for artists or visitors. If you are in the area, stop by - you'll enjoy it. A beautiful location.

Beautiful. Peaceful. And amazing paintings. Highly recommend it.

Great man and his home reflects his life
